A day of LISTENING not just HEARING, and the distinction between the two!

There is a difference between listening and hearing. There is a difference between listening to another and listening to yourself.

Let's discuss being fully expressed. Why would that be important? What does it have to do with listening? All this is done with scene work, exercises and a conversion which will result in making that distinction.

I think when you're not fully expressed you WILL find it harder to “listen” because there will be so much chatter in your head. There is only so much room in there and I’d like it CLEAR for your character/humans to step in

NOT just an audition technique class! Yes those elements will be gone over AFTER you receive, tape and turn in PRIOR to workshop, your "audition"

We will then put it up on the big screen, discuss what worked, what didn't, how to fix it and THEN you have to retape. WHAT??? HOW???

There will be several room spaces available. Bring your ring light, phone etc if you do it at home you will do it here at IAS. IF YOU choose to use IAS (because you tape there) you'd better sign up for a time slot! Just like you'd have to do any other  time.

Think of it this way. You were requested (via cmail) to tape/audition. You do that and turn it in. The CD, me, will take a look. If I have adjustments they would go out immediately and you'd be asked to retape ASAP. After all, you did the work, your lines are memorized JUST RETAPE. And folks it happens that fast. Turn around for a readjust within hours! NOT DAYS OR WEEKS.

Are you UP for the challenge?

Here are some particulars on these workshops.

SPACE will be limited because of the time constraint.

YOU MUST.....MUST email Cindy at actioncreated@gmail to register (CC Forest)

YOU MUST.....MUST send a deposit of $50.00 to hold a spot and receive your sides!

THE BALANCE is due the day of workshop IN CASH.

As soon as I received your email and $, I will send over a side for you to prepare. THE SOONER you register the more time you have!
